Summary

The Growing Tree is expanding! We currently offer childcare and Universal Pre-kindergarten preschool programming. We are almost completed with our expansion of opening a toddler room. Our current teacher will be moving to the toddler room and will be seeking a Preschool-level teacher. We are also looking for an assistant teacher. These are both full-time positions.

Duties

• Know and follow CDD Child Care Licensing Regulations
• Planning, preparing, and implementing a curriculum that aligns with the Vermont Early Learning Standards/TSG 
• Healthy classroom management skills.
• Maintaining a clean and organized classroom.
• Develop positive relationships with children, co-workers, families, and external personnel.
• Constantly shows up and wants to work as part of a team.

Requirements

• Experience with young children in a professional setting.
• Teacher-a minimum of 12-21 credits or a degree in Early Childhood Education
• Assistant Teacher- 45-hour fundamentals course within the first 12 months of employment.
• All applicants- Vermont 9-hour orientation and mandated reporting.
• Infant and Child CPR/First Aid.
